PRAECIPUUS RIESLING RENANO D.O.C. Trevenezie

More than fifty years ago, Rolando Fugatti, together with his wife Giuliana, with great commitment and dedication decided to found the Roeno winery, located on the border between Veneto and Trentino.

Today the winery is run by their children who, following in their parents' footsteps, dedicate themselves with love to their land, respecting its traditions and values.

Each vine variety is planted on the type of soil most suitable for it, in order to obtain wines of great elegance and personality.

In the winery, thanks to experience and the use of new technologies, they always strive to pursue the goal of best expressing the territory.

Sun Exposure: east/west

Altitude: 550m msl

The must, obtained from softly pressed grapes after a short maceration, is cooled, clarified through decantation, and then sent to fermentation in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank.

Specially selected yeasts for the Riesling variety, developed by the Geisenheim Institute, are used.

The fermentation temperature is maintained at 16-17°C and lasts for approximately 20 days.

This is followed by one year of aging in stainless steel.

The varietal expression of Riesling is perfectly recognizable, with prevailing aromas of peaches and hints of hydrocarbons.

The balance between acidity and minerality, combined with the softness of the residual sugar, makes this wine unique, harmonious, and elegantly refined.
